Linear fracture
Thank you to everyone involved in my case. I never dreamed of such an outcome and you have made such a long and difficult case seem easy and bearable.
Nigel, Derbyshire
Linear skull fractures are often usually minor; the brain may only have suffered bruising and haemorrhaging (internal bleeding) and there are rarely long term consequences affecting the nervous system. However there are some circumstances where serious complications can occur, which if left untreated, can be fatal. Furthermore if the fracture is so minor that it goes unnoticed, it can also serve as a major weakness to the skull and have dramatic consequences if the head receives any subsequent minor blows. This is known as a 'hair line fracture.'
