Expressed fractures
May I thank you for the way my accident claim has been handled, after my accident my confidence was very low indeed but the sympathetic handling of my case restored my confidence.
John, Sheffield
These are unusual factures in which segments of fractured skull bone become lodged outside the skull, usually embedded in the scalp. This type of fracture is normally the result of missiles or blasts, which crush the skull; this is usually experienced in military combat or gun warfare. Usually this type of fracture does not impact the brain.
