Helen was 46 years old and had depended on glasses since she was nine. When she saw a television advert that claimed to correct vision, she was amazed and excited. Helen and her husband took out a loan on the mortgage to pay for laser eye surgery. After the surgery Helen suffered a series of complications including constant eyesore, watery eyes, and bad vision (worse than before the surgery). Unfortunately for Helen, her eyesight hasn't been restored and still suffers complications from the laser surgery.
