Clients speak out about son's death following speedboat accident in the Bahamas
05/04/2005
May I thank you for the way my accident claim has been handled, after my accident my confidence was very low indeed but the sympathetic handling of my case restored my confidence.

Alexander Harris represented Paul and Andrea Gallagher at inquests in the Bahamas and the UK, whose two year old son, Paul died after a speedboat accident while on holiday in the Bahamas in August 2002.
Their story was featured in the Sunday Times last weekend.
The Gallaghers are campaigning for the Bahamian authority to launch a criminal investigation into Paul's death. They have accused the Bahamian authority of resisting any such moves in order to protect its tourist industry.
Last week the couple learnt that the powerboat company involved in the accident has been responsible for several other accidents resulting in serious injuries.
Speaking to the Sunday Times, Paul Gallagher said:
"No one has faced any sort of criminal charges for this or been held accountable in any way. Watersports are not properly controlled and accidents keep happening there."
Background
The Inquest into the death of Paul Gallagher (Junior) took place on the 26th of October 2004 at the Magistrates Court in Bromley, Kent. The Coroner Dr Roy Palmer spent time prior to the Inquest reviewing evidence surrounding the incident.
The Gallagher family from Orpington, Kent were on holiday of a lifetime staying at the Atlantis resort when the horrific accident happened in 2002.
On the beach outside the hotel with his family, 2 year old Paul was asleep on a sunlounger when a speedboat crashed into the beach, ploughed through holidaymakers and the propeller of the boat struck the toddler causing fatal head injuries. He died in hospital a few days later.
