Mr Q - an electrical engineer from Cheshire underwent a putty platt procedure for a dislocated shoulder. Following the procedure he had evidence of nerve damage. As a result Mr Q's arm took a long time to recover and restricted his ability to work. Alexander Harris obtained evidence to say that the nerve damage must have been caused as a result of negligence and successfully recovered over £30,000.
Mrs S was suffering with hip problems and underwent a bone biopsy. She understood that the procedure would be straightforward but she was left with extensive scarring and pain in her hip and leg. Unfortunately Mrs S was suffering with serious disease in her hip, however the bone biopsy had caused nerve damage leaving Mrs S with numbness over an extensive area. This altered sensation would be a permanent problem. Alexander Harris successfully settled Mrs S's claim for £5,500.
