Thank you for all your time and excellent work and rest assured that if myself or family or friends require any legal help in the future I will refer them to yourselves.

Partner Muiris Lyons will appear alongside Oscar nominee Sophie Okonedo this week, in the Channel 4 documentary 'Born with Two Mothers'.

Broadcast on Thursday 21st of April, the programme is the fictional account of a mix-up at an IVF clinic which results in a white woman giving birth to a black boy.

Two childless couples - one black, one white - anxiously await news of their latest attempt to conceive using IVF. One woman will succeed, but even before the baby is born, and unknown to both sets of potential parents, serious doubts emerge among medical staff surrounding the transfer of embryos, threatening a major ethical and legal dilemma.

Muiris was invited to take part in the drama which features 'real-life' professionals including doctors and lawyers, all of whom portray themselves responding as they would in real life, to events.

As a high profile, leading healthcare lawyer Muiris is approached by one of the couples to advise them on their position. He represents the couple as they go through a highly-charged court case in which a 'real' judge decides how the child will live.

This is Muiris' third appearance in a TV documentary. The first was 'Battle for a Baby', an hour long documentary on the Natallie Evans 'frozen embryo' case which formed part of the Cutting Edge series on Channel 4 screened in October 2003. More recently, he participated in the Tonight with Trevor McDonald ITV documentary featuring the 'Baby Luke right to life' case of Luke Winston-Jones in which Muiris represented Luke's mother. He is currently filming two further documentaries which will be shown next year.

Sophie Okonedo, 35, was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Tatiana Rusesabagina in 'Hotel Rwanda'. She was up against some of Hollywood's most prominent actresses and narrowly missed out on the prestigious award to Cate Blanchett for her performance in The Aviator.

Born with Two Mothers is being shown on Channel 4 on April 21 at 9pm
