31/12/1999
Thank you to everyone involved in my case. I never dreamed of such an outcome and you have made such a long and difficult case seem easy and bearable.
Nigel, Derbyshire
The parents of a toddler who was killed whilst on holiday in the Bahamas in a speedboat accident are taking their fight to Downing Street.
Little Paul aged two, sustained fatal head injuries when the propeller of an out of control speedboat mounted the beach and the propeller struck his head.
Little Paul and his family were on the beach outside their hotel at the Atlantis resort when the accident happened.
The family have written a letter to Tony Blair to progress their campaign for justice to ensure that the incident is properly investigated and that such a tragedy never happens again.
Kerzner International, the company who run the resort said in a statement: "We have done and continue to do everything possible to assist the family and co-operate with the Bahamian authorities in their investigation of the accident."
The spokesperson said unregulated companies offering watersports alongside the hotel were nothing to do with Kerzner International.
