Military injury - RAF hang glider pilot suffers face and chest injuries after accident at work

An RAF hang glider pilot was found lying unconscious after he crashed into a hill in Northumberland.
A helicopter from RAF Boulmer was called to the scene of the accident in East Hill, Rothbury.
The hang glider had just taken off when it crashed down the side of the hill.
The man suffered facial and chest injuries.
He was taken to hospital by RAF helicopter.
An investigation into the accident is being undertaken by the Air Accident Investigation Branch.
