Driver from Barnsley arrested after death of pedestrian

A driver has been arrested and bailed on the suspicion of causing
death by dangerous driving after the car he was driving knocked down
and killed a teenage pedestrian.
The accident that took place
Huddersfield Road, Wilthorpe on Sunday, March 9, police are appealing
for witnesses following the incident.
Gary Glymond, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police also want to speak to two men in a white private hire taxi and a female nurse who gave the victim first aid.
