Beverley Allitt documentary to be aired

A drama documentary about nurse Beverley Allitt will be aired tonight.
The BBC documentary tells the story of Allitt, who murdered a number of children whilst in her care in Grantham and Kesteven General Hospital.
Ann Alexander, who represented the families of victims of Beverley Allitt and was interviewed for the documentary said:
"I am pleased to have been involved in a project that raises awareness of the gaps in the system that need to be filled in order to create a safer environment for patients and minimise the risk of a similar tragedy occurring again."
